Scott H. Shook is the author of 1998’s Best Seller Massillon Memories, his first book on the Massillon Tigers.

Scott was born in Massillon, Ohio, and lived there before moving to Marco Island, Florida in 1973. As a 15-year-old, he began his sportswriting and photography career at two local newspapers in the Marco Island-Naples area.

He continues to reside in Marco Island, where he works in resort management in addition to his writing and photographic pursuits.

A graduate of The University of Florida, Scott has had hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles and photographs published worldwide. A tennis professional, his tennis features have appeared in Tennis magazine.

Despite leaving Massillon as a teenager, Scott shares the cradle- to-grave interest in football that is bred into its citizenry. He attends several Massillon football games each fall.
